Bonnie Leone Siebrands, age 57, of Garden City, died Friday, October 2, 2009 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, October 5, 2009 at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in Barnard's Valley View Cemetery, rural Good Thunder. Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the time of service Monday at the mortuary.
Bonnie was born in Mankato, July 22, 1952 to Ernest and Bertha (Lammers) Rosin of Good Thunder. She grew up on a farm Northwest of Good Thunder, a place where her love of animals began. She graduated from Good Thunder High School in 1970 and attended Mankato State College. In August of 1971, Bonnie was united in marriage to Alan Siebrands. Bonnie worked at Immanuel St. Joseph's " Mayo Health System for almost 20 years, most recently as a personal care attendant.
Bonnie was an extremely giving, caring, and loving person. Her passion was being there for others in their time of need. She was known for her love of animals, especially her cats. Bonnie was an amazing cook, and loved to bake goodies for her family, friends, and co-workers. She was most appreciative of nature, loved gardening, and tending to her fish pond.
Bonnie is survived by her three sons, Eric, David, and Mike Siebrands; brother, Leo (Mary) Rosin; sisters, Nancy Rosin and Kathy (Tom) Dahm; nephews, Ryan (Lindi) Dahm, Bobby (Melissa) Dahm, and A. J. (Lisa) Dahm; niece, Samantha Dahm.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and twin sons in infancy.
She will be most remembered for her caring, giving, and selfless nature. She will be loved and missed by her family, friends, co-workers, and patients.
