Tillie E Redenius

Tillie E. Redenius, age 90, of North Mankato, died Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Immanuel-St. Joseph's Hospital Mankato.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Belgrade United Methodist Church, North Mankato. Burial in Welcome City Cemetery, Welcome, Visitation will one hour before service at church on Wednesday. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Tillie was born on September 25, 1918 to James and Mathilda (Seiple) Ferguson in rural Perham, MN. She was united in marriage to Harvey A. Redenius on April 5, 1944 in Jackson, MN. Tillie did child care for over 30 years before her retirement. She was a member of Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church and often did child care for church services. Tillie enjoyed embroidery, gardening and word searches. She will be remembered for her love of children.

Tillie is survived by her children, Sandy (Melvin) Dimmel of Waseca, Jerrdelle Redenius of Welcome, and Tyllene (Lloyd) Pearson of North Mankato; eight grandchildren, Jackie Baumgard, Jerry Lee Redenius, Jimmy Redenius, Tammy Langford, Angie Redenius (Paul McDonald), Dawnita (Paul) Jagodzinske, Brent (Stacy) Pearson, and Jesse Pearson; fifteen great-grandchildren, Dustin, Logan, Marah, Justine, Joshua, Matthew, Reno, Angelica, Jarrah, Miranda, Christian, Layne, Kylee, Sydney, and Evan; one great-great-grandson, Jacob; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey in 1962; six brothers; and four sisters.
