Dwayne O Bartsch

Dwayne O. Bartsch, age 74 of Rapidan, died Monday, August 31, 2009 at the Madelia Community Hospital in Madelia.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2009 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rapidan with Vicar Robert Lund, officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Rapidan. Visitation will be one hour before service at church on Friday. Memorials are preferred to St. John's Lutheran Church or an organization of the donor's choice. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Dwayne was born February 27, 1935 in Mankato to Oscar and Erma (Miescke) Bartsch. He was baptized on March 17, 1935 and confirmed on June 5, 1949. He graduated from Rapidan High School in 1953. Dwayne worked for Kato Engineering for 30 years until his retirement in December of 1999. He enjoyed model trains and flowers.

Dwayne is survived by several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
