Gary R Landgren

Gary Robert Landgren, age 63, of North Mankato, died Monday, August 24, 2009 at his residence.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2009 at Mankato Mortuary, with Rev. John Kunz officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorials are preferred.

Gary was born November 28, 1945 to Lawrence and Marcella (Miller) Landgren in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School and served in the U. S. Navy from 1963 to 1964. Gary was united in marriage on May 1, 1970 to Vicki Johnson in Windom. He worked as an auto body repairman and also for Kato Cab. Gary enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, fishing, and playing cards.

Gary is survived by his wife, Vicki of North Mankato; children, Tom (Jen) Landgren of North Mankato, Heather (Bill) Reiniger of Eagle Lake, and Bob (Tiffany) Landgren of Mankato; 9 grandchildren; brother, Larry (Mary) Landgren of Sherburn; sister, Judy Whiteis of St.Clair; also several nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Claudia; and one grandson, Johnny.
