Ronald I Minter

Ronald I. Minter, age 74, of Mankato, died peacefully Monday, January 7, 2008 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2008 at Hillside Assembly of God Church in Mankato with Pastor Mark Miltimore officiating. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 on Thursday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Memorials may be made to the Hillside Assembly of God Church.

Ronald was born July 27, 1933 to Roy and Madeline (Gasner) Minter in Owatonna, MN. He graduated from Owatonna High School in 1952. Ronald was in the dry cleaning business for 54 years managing shops in Owatonna, MN, Mandan, ND, and Mankato, MN. In 1961, he was united in marriage to Frances Keller at the Methodist Church in Bismarck, ND. After managing Camelot Cleaners since 1971, Ronald purchased the business in 1987. He retired in 2001.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Fran; 2 sons: Dale (Danell) Minter of Janesville and Dean Minter of Mankato; 2 daughters: Barb (Dave) Berger of Eau Claire, WI and Deb Christensen and Bill Christensen of Byron, MN; 4 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 2 brothers: Owen (Donna) Minter of Owatonna and Roy (Mary Jo) Minter of Wilmar, MN; 2 sisters in law: Esther Will of Bismarck, ND and Irene Loveridge of Grand Junction, CO; 1 brother in law, Elmer (Edna) Keller of Linton, ND.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
