Ronald R Glaubitz

Ronald R. Glaubitz, age 58, of Vernon Center, died Monday, December 10, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2007 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Vernon Center, with Pastor Vance Milbrath officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Vernon Center Cemetery. Memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice. Mankato Mortuary handled arrangements.

Ronald was born August 7, 1949 to Robert and Lois (Sandvig) Glaubitz in Winnebago. He graduated from the Garden City High School. From the years of 1968 until 1971, Ronald served in the United States Army where he had done two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Vernon Center and the VFW Post 950. Ronald enjoyed listening to NASCAR, the Minnesota Vikings, Twins baseball, and loved to help others.

Ronald is survived by his sister, Kathleen (C.D.) Davis of West Blocton, AL; three nieces, Penny (Danny) Wallace of Lester, AL, Nikki (Scott) Morrow of West Blocton, AL, and Bobbi Jo Price of West Blocton, AL; and one nephew, Cory Davis of West Blocton, AL. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.
