Elizabeth K. Marxen, age 29, of North Mankato went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2007.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Mankato with Rev. Paul Lauer, officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 20 at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before service at church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to a Trust Fund for her two daughters.
Beth was born January 6, 1978 to Tom and Deb (Bohlke) Maus in Mankato. Beth was baptized and confirmed at Messiah Lutheran Church, North Mankato. She graduated from Mankato West High School in 1996 and attended post high school business courses. She was a Girl Scout leader for her daughter's troop. On July 20, 2002 she married Shawn Marxen at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. She was employed by The Land and currently the Free Press. Her hobbies included reading, gardening, horseback riding, deer hunting, bowling, camping, playing computer games, playing cards, walking her dog, and spending time with her family and friends.
Beth is survived by her daughters, Orianna and Danica; parents, Tom and Deb Maus of North Mankato; two brothers, Jon (Jaime) Maus of St. Michael, Ben (Dana) Maus of Mankato; grandparents, Darrel and Elna Bohlke of North Mankato, Ken and Lil Maus of Madelia; nieces, McKenna and Cadence Maus; aunt and Godmother, Kathryn (David Kreuter) Bohlke of Eagan; uncles, Bill Osborne of Madelia, Bill Etter of Milwaukee; and many cousins.
Beth was preceded in death by her aunts, Sandra (Maus) Etter and Lynn (Maus) Osborne.
