Maxine G Cutler

Maxine Grace Cutler, age 77, of Lake Crystal died Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at Madelia Community Hospital.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2007, at Zion Lutheran Church, Lake Crystal with Rev. Nancy Dreier officiating. Burial will be in Lake Crystal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m., Sunday at Lake Crystal Mortuary and will continue one hour before service at church on Monday.

Maxine was born May 18, 1930 the oldest of four children to Clayton and Wilma (Rollings) Childs in Rapidan Township, Blue Earth County. She was united in marriage to Edmund J. Cutler on November 8, 1948. Maxine had worked at the White Swan Cafe and Gamble Store of Lake Crystal for many years. She enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins on TV, listening to the radio, taking care of her grandkids, camping, fishing, and listening to old time country music.

Maxine is survived by her children, Bonnie Cutler-Dreyer of Lake Crystal, Doug (Gail) Cutler of Rapidan, LuAnn (Al) Scharbach of New Ulm, Barb (Larry) Dvorak of Belle Plaine, Georgia (Bill) Neubauer of Easton, Julie (Curt) Tauer of New Ulm, Ronnie Cutler of Lake Crystal, Janie Cutler of Lake Crystal, James (Marla) Cutler of Lake Crystal; seventeen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one foster grandchild, Ron Granlund; sixteen step-grandchildren; two brothers, Stan (Jean) Childs of Lake Crystal, Dean (Esther) Childs of Redwood Falls; sister, Darlene Dumke of Mankato; many nieces and nephews.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edmund; granddaughter, Lynn Neubauer; brother-in-law, Dwight Dumke; son-in-law, Rollie Sonnek.
