Warren Eugene "Bud" Wagner, age 87 of Mankato, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Mankato House Health Care Center in Mankato.
Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 26, 2007 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Colletti officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mankato. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Warren was born on November 23, 1919 to Allie and Laura (Dauber) Wagner in Mankato. He served in the United States Army during WW II. He married Florence La June Carey on June 17, 1946. He had a step-son Michael Carey and a son Paul Wagner. He worked as a plumber and a steam fitter until his retirement. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, VFW Post # 950, TCPT Union, and the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Florence of Mankato; brothers, Robert Wagner of San Antonio, TX, Jerry (Delores) Wagner of Mankato; daughters-in-law; Kristina Wagner of Perth, Australia, Joyce (Allen) Anderson of Paynesville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna; two sons, Michael and Paul; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ed and Ada Mountain; and brother-in-law, Father Harold Mountain.
