Dorothy M. Hallman, age 86, of Mankato died Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Oak Terrace Assisted Living in North Mankato, MN.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Mankato Mortuary with Chaplain Jacek Soroka officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary on Tuesday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mankato. Memorials may be given to ISJ Hospice.

Dorothy was born December 17, 1920 to John and Anna (Schwabe) Foley in Mankato, MN. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1939. Dorothy was a huge Twins and Vikings fan who also loved to fish and play cards. She met once a month with the Class of "39' and also with her former co-workers of Woolworth's. Dorothy enjoyed going to lunch, shopping, drinking coffee, and her trips to Jackpot Junction. She will be missed by all who knew her, but especially by her family.

Dorothy is survived by one daughter; Ann (Edward) Borchardt of North Mankato, MN; two sons, Carl (Dianne) Hallman of Rogers, MN and David Hallman of Redwood City, CA; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister in law, Betty Foley of Spring Park, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Carpenter; and brother James Foley.
