Marianne L Wurtele

Marianne Leona Wurtele, age 72, of North Mankato died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Willow Point Assisted Living, North Mankato.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Bethel Baptist Church, Mankato with Pastor Bruce Nelson officiating. Mankato Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.

Marianne was born July 6, 1935 to Marshall and Miranda (Selnes) Logan in Staples, MN. She graduated from Lake Park High School in 1952. She was united in marriage to Edison Jerdee on August 18, 1956, they were later divorced. Marianne was a homemaker for her family and was employed with St. Mary's Hospital and Country Health Medical Supplies both of Detroit Lakes. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, crocheting, cooking, was an avid reader, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Marianne is survived by seven children, Jacquelyn (John) Kleeberger of Frontenac, MN; Timothy (Deborah) Jerdee of Rockford, IL, Todd Jerdee of Detroit Lakes, Jody (James) Bryant of Mankato, Tracy (Kelly) Jerdee of Sioux City, IA, Jonathan Jerdee of Hawley, MN, Dana (Heather) Jerdee of Lake Elmo; eighteen grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, and Jillian Kleeberger, Elizabeth, Karrie, and Jeremiah Jerdee, Logan, Brendan, and Lauren Bryant, Angela, Andrea, Alexandria, Alicia, Louis, and Edison Jerdee, Katelyn Jerdee, Grady and Mason Jerdee; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Gary) Sherman of Northfield; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Roberta Lund.
