Phyllis Hudson

Phyllis E. Hudson, age 82, died Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at Lake Crystal Health Care Center.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Garden City with Pastor Scott Jennings, officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Lake Crystal Mortuary. Private family burial will be held in Garden City Cemetery.

Phyllis was born January 26, 1925 to Gerhardt and Gertrude (Hartwig) Hansen in Mankato, Minnesota. She attended and graduated from Mankato Commercial College with a degree in accounting. On August 27, 1946, she was united in marriage to Myron F. Hudson in Garden City. They lived and farmed in the Garden City area. Phyllis was a member of First Baptist Church in Lake Crystal. She loved her seven grandsons and was a fan of the Minnesota Twins and Timberwolves.

Phyllis is survived by her three sons and their wives, David and Sylvia Hudson of North Mankato, Gary and Faith Hudson of Plymouth, Dale and Denise Hudson of Garden City; seven grandsons; two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; and other family and friends. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Ernest Hansen.
