Elizabeth Ann "BIZ" Rysdon-VonHoltum, age 45, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at her home in Mankato.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5"8 p.m., Friday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.

Elizabeth was born March 9, 1962 to Kent and Jackie (Lickness) Rysdon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She graduated from Mankato East High School in 1980. Following high school, Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at Sioux Falls College in Sioux Falls, SD in 1988 and obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD in 1993. On December 13, 1996, she was united in marriage to Jeff VonHoltum in Mankato. Biz enjoyed antiquing, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff VonHoltum of Mankato; two children, Lynsey and Shay VonHoltum both of Wilmont, MN; parents, Kent and Bobbi Rysdon of Sioux Falls, SD; Ron and Rhoda Doty of Mankato; siblings, Cindy Doty-Obar and husband, Mark of Litchfield, MN, Steve Doty and wife, Karen of Mankato, Mary Pat Rysdon and husband, Steve Doris of Aspen, CO, Chris Rysdon of Mankato, David Doty and wife, Tammy of Castle Rock, CO, Jason Rysdon and wife, Gina of Minneapolis, MN, Jennifer Youngberg and husband, Mike of Pierre, SD, Angie Rysdon of Sioux Falls, SD and Tony Rysdon of Sioux Falls, SD; nieces, nephews and many, many lifelong friends, including Cal and Becky Tate. Biz will be especially missed by pets, Pete, Lucy, Gretsky, Hobs, Toad and Sofie. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jackie and her grandparents, Max and Lorraine Rysdon and Don and Norma Cadwell.

Her spirituality was the manner in which she lived her life " a warm loving and giving heart, the gift of hospitality, a robust laugh, a ray of sunshine, the glue that helped hold a large family together in happy as well as sad times. She will be greatly missed.
