Robert T Mundt

Robert Theodore Mundt, age 59 of Lake Crystal, died Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at his home.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 17, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lake Crystal with Rev. Nancy Dreier officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday (TODAY) at Lake Crystal Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Robert was born April 26, 1948 to John and Arlene (Phelps) Mundt in Britton, South Dakota. He was a 1966 graduate of Lake Crystal High School. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1966-1970. He was united in marriage to Beverly Ferguson on October 16, 1970 in Lake Crystal. Robert worked for Harvest States for 30 years and then went on to work for Kato Engineering for seven years and the last eight years he worked for Alert Construction. He enjoyed cars, especially Corvettes, and target shooting. He was a member of the Lake Crystal American Legion Post 294.

Robert is survived by his wife, Beverly of Lake Crystal; two sons, Robert (Salene) Mundt of St. Peter, Eric and special friend Cori Eucken of Good Thunder; four grandchildren, Tylor, Brittany, Bradley and Isabella; father, John Mundt of Lake Crystal; three brothers, Dan (Jenny) Mundt of North Mankato, John Mundt III of Prescott WI, Jerry (Jody) Mundt of Cleveland; two sisters, Jane (Mike) Dauer of Emily, Julie (Alan) Augustine of Lake Crystal; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene.
