Ivalea Helen Butson, age 82 of Lake Crystal, died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Faribault Care Center, Faribault, MN.

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Crystal, MN. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to the start of service on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Garden City Cemetery. Lake Crystal Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ivalea was born March 27, 1929 to Ira and Elsie (Robinson) Winters in Vernon Center Township, Blue Earth County, MN. She attended school in Lake Crystal and Garden City, graduating from Garden City High School in 1947. Ivalea was united in marriage to Dale "Pete" Butson on November 5, 1948 in Garden City. She was a homemaker and very involved in the farm operation. Ivalea upholstered and refinished furniture. She also enjoyed camping and doing jigsaw puzzles.

Ivalea is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Judy) Butson of Litchfield; Randy (Lisa) Butson of Edgerton; daughter, Debra (Jeff) Floren of Kenyon; eleven grandchildren, Jared (Jill) Butson of St. Charles; Janelle (Mike) Greenough of Lake Crystal; Megan (Andrew) Wismer of Omaha, NE; Macy Butson of Mankato; Whitney and Wyatt Butson of Edgerton; Jessica (Darin) Johnson of Kenyon; Josh (Amy) Floren of Holdingford; Greg (Chelsea) Floren of Easton; Sarah (Brian) Christensen, Dundas and Robby Floren of Collegeville; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Duane (Rose) Winters of Odin; brother-in-law, Raymond Gustafson of Garden City; sisters-in-law, Mildred Young of Madison; Pat Butson of Kissimmee, FL; Joann Butson of Lake Crystal, also many nieces and nephews.

Ivalea was preceded in death by her husband Dale "Pete"; parents; brother, Darrell Winters; sister, Shirley Gustafson; and brothers and sisters in law.
