Marie (Heiderscheidt) Morgan, 81, passed away November 13, 2011.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m., Wednesday at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Mankato.

Marie was born December 5, 1929 in Morgan, Minnesota to Nicholas and Mary (Bierl) Heiderscheidt and graduated from Good Counsel Academy, Mankato in 1948. After graduation, she lived in Mankato until 1977 and worked at Sears as a department manager. She then moved to Arizona, where she worked as an interior decorator and then as a manager of a paint store until retirement. In 2006 she returned to Mankato, to be near family and lived at Gus Johnson Plaza. While in Arizona, she enjoyed trips to the Mexican coast and spending time with her friends. In her later years, she enjoyed playing cards with and making special desserts for all of her friends at Gus Johnson Plaza. She loved spending time with her family and had a very special place in her heart for a little black dog, named Jude.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Marcia Douglas of Mankato, her son, Michael Morgan of Pueblo, Colorado and her daughter, Lisa Severson of Mankato; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; five sisters; and her partner, Ken Gosewisch.
