David F Linde

David F. Linde, age 68, of Mankato, passed away March 18, 2010 at Hillcrest Health Care Center.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Wednesday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Memorials preferred to the Linde family.

David Frederick Linde was born May 26, 1941 in Mankato. He was married to Rosemarie Olinger on October 27, 1962 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Parish. He was employed with St. Clair School as a custodian and bus driver. He later worked for several companies, including ADM and Hubbard Mill Research Farm. David retired from Big Gain Feeds in 1985. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing cards, reading, fishing, camping, hunting, gardening, and the outdoors.
David is survived by wife, Rosemarie; children, Carolyn Manning, Paul (Ella) Linde, Mary Beth (Todd) Berger; grandchildren, Anthony, David, Kristofer, Dustin, Nate, Molly, Caleb, Makenna; great-granddaughter, Audreyanna; sister, Darlene (David) Wilmes; brother, Harold (Gloria) Linde; brother-in-law, Steve (Lori) Olinger; and many nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Herbert; and nephews, Douglas, Dale, and Tom.
