Wayne "Trucker" Paul Dougherty, age 16, of rural Lake Crystal, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at his home.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, Lake Crystal with Rev. Debbie King Quale, officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:30 " 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at Lake Crystal Mortuary and will continue one hour before service at church on Wednesday.
"Trucker" was born September 23, 1993 in Madelia to Wayne J. Dougherty and Elysabeth Manna Vickery. He attended Madelia High School. He loved football, fishing, snowmobiling, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
"Trucker" is survived by his mother, Elysabeth (Jimmy Davis) Vickery of Lake Crystal; father, Wayne J. Dougherty of Frost; brothers and sisters, Lyle (Crystle) Dougherty of Pipestone, Jon Dougherty and fianc", Sara of Pipestone, Kurtis (Hilary) Dougherty of Lake Benton, MN, Amy Manna of Mankato, Mary Manna of South Dakota, Debra Dougherty of Lake Crystal, Tiffany (Kenneth) Stirling of Oldham, SD, Brook and Lucas Dougherty of Oldham, SD; grandparents, Vincent Manna of LeCenter, Doris (Harry) Teel of Klamath Falls, OR, Engold Diel of Lewisville; Janet Martin of Garden City; nieces and nephews, Spencer, Samantha, Shelbi, Skyler, Bryce, Emerson, and Violet; many aunts, uncles, and several cousins.
"Trucker" was preceded in death by Grandpa Arthur Dougherty Sr. and Uncle Eugene "Cookie" Dougherty 2007.
