Larry D Oachs

Larry Duaine Oachs, age 54, of North Mankato, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2010 at Crossview Covenant Church, North Mankato. Visitation will be held from 12:30 " 2:30 p.m., Monday at church. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Larry was born July 29, 1955 to Alfred and Janet (Rooney) Oachs in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato West High School in 1973 and then attended Vocational-Technical College. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, the outdoors, camping, fishing, country music, and collecting pocket knives.

Larry is survived by his two children, Matthew (Nisan) Oachs of Delavan, Cheyenne Oachs of Mankato; grandson, Lance Litchfield; parents, Janet and Alfred Oachs of North Mankato; eight siblings; his twin, LuAnn (Dale) Bandel of Gary, SD, Loretta (Richard) Chatleain of Mankato, Rodney (Doreen) Oachs of Mankato, Rick Oachs, Roger Oachs both of North Mankato, Sherry Oachs of Lake Crystal, Jane (Gary) Stenzel of Minnesota Lake, Timothy Oachs of North Mankato; seventeen nieces and nephews; eleven great-nieces and nephews and extended family.
