Loren T Stolt

Loren Theodore Stolt, age 83 of Mankato, died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Immanuel " St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 1, 2010 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 " 8 p.m., Sunday (TODAY) at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before the service at the church on Monday.

Loren was born July 25, 1926 to Ernst and Olga Stolt in Nicollet, MN. He attended school in Nicollet and attained his G.E.D. Loren was united in marriage to Vera A. Kastner on September 7, 1947. He did Mill work for Hager Manufacturing in Mankato. Loren was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and helped with ISJ Hospice care after Vera's passing in 2002. He enjoyed square dancing and camping with Vera, woodworking, cards, shuffleboard, horseshoe pitching, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Loren is survived by his two sons, Dale (Mary Ann) Stolt of St. Clair; Gary (Candy) Stolt of Franklin, TN; three granddaughters, Kelly (Todd) Miller of Hanska; Amy (Seth) Becker of Fairmont; Karen (Shane) King of Camden, TN; one grandson, Tim Stolt of Louisville, KY; four great grandchildren, Jaden, Cadence, Kennedy, Julia; two sisters, Eleanor; Florence; one brother, Roger.

Loren was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson Scott and brother Vernon.
