James Wroge

James "Jim Bob" Wroge, age 41 of Lake Crystal, passed unexpectedly Friday, August 6, 2010 while on vacation spending time with family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Hosanna Lutheran Church (105 Hosanna Avenue) in Mankato, with Pastor Dan Weise officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Mankato.

James Donald Wroge was born August 1, 1969 in Glencoe, MN to Donald and Betty (Frahm) Wroge. He attended Glencoe High School and worked as a farm hand for Glencoe area farmers. Jim later worked for Telex Inc. in Glencoe, Nordic Track in Belle Plaine, and was employed at Door Engineering in Kasota since 1996 as an industrial painter. On October 14, 2006, he married Kim Graczyk at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato. He enjoyed playing volleyball, camping, playing cards, fixing lawn mowers, building wood furniture, snowmobiling and four-wheeling.

Jim is survived by his wife, Kim; parents, Donald and Betty Wroge of Glencoe; brother David Wroge and special friend, Lori Siewert of Green Isle; sister, Dawn Jacques and husband, Jason of Glencoe; aunts and uncles, Orlin and Joyce Wroge of Lawton, OK, John and Elaine Frahm of Stillwater, Sandra and Kenneth Dressen of Arlington; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Beth, Adam, and Leah Wroge, Lindsey and Jesse Jacques.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ella and Martin Wroge, Malinda and John Frahm; uncle, Melvin Wroge; and aunt, Betty Wroge.
