Anneka "Nikki" Lynn Nagel, age 39, of Mankato died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Bethel Baptist Church, Mankato with Pastor David Banfield, officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Monday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before service at church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
Anneka was born June 16, 1971 in Arlington Heights, IL to Lon D. and Jacqueline (Seppala) Nagel. She graduated from Mankato East High School in 1989. Anneka attended Southwest State University and graduated from Rasmussen Business College. She had been employed by MRCI, Primrose, Mankato Chiropractic, and Griffen Housing. She enjoyed water activities, reading, movies, playing darts, and spending time with her family.
Anneka is survived by her two daughters, Heather and Haley Lanners of Mankato; her parents, Lon and Jacqueline Nagel of Mankato; brother, Shane (Tammy) Nagel of Mankato, two nieces, Sydney and Macy Nagel; special friend, David Thormodson of Mankato; grandmothers, Ruby Seppala of Watertown, SD and Deloris Nagel of Glencoe; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Anneka was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Harold Nagel and Edwin Seppala.
