Hannah Louise Kozitza

Our little angel, Hannah Louise Kozitza, passed into the gates of Heaven on Thursday, June 17, 2010, at the age of four. She was born on December 11, 2005.

She was greeted in Heaven by her paternal grandmother, Jan Louise Kozitza; her maternal great-grandfather; her paternal great-grandmother; and her uncle, Wayne String.

During her four years on Earth, Hannah loved boating, swimming, riding her 4-wheeler and playing with her sister and best friend, Madison. Hannah could always be found with a smile on her face and had a personality that brought immense joy to her family and created a lasting impression on anyone who met her.

She is survived by her parents, Justin and Jennifer Kozitza of North Mankato, Minn., and big sister, Madison; her maternal grandparents, Ron and Jean Edlund, of the Twin Cities, Minn.; her paternal grandparents, Tony and Lisa Kozitza, of North Mankato, Minn.; her maternal great-grandmother, Beverly String, of Apple Valley, Minn.; her paternal great-grandfather, Richard Kozitza, Sr., of North Mankato, Minn.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family.

The family will hold a private service to celebrate Hannah's life at a later date. A memorial fund has been established at Pioneer Bank in honor of Hannah and family.
