Alicia Ann Nolan, age 23, of North Mankato, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at her home.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, North Mankato. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday at North Mankato Mortuary - NORTHVIEW and will continue one hour before service at church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Alicia was born January 16, 1988 to Patrick and Angelica (Solis) Nolan in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato West High School in 2006 and attended South Central College. She was presently employed with Costumes Galore. A very soft spoken and gentle person, Alicia thought of others before herself. She was a friend to everybody with a huge heart and a contagious smile. She loved music, softball, soccer, fishing, eating out and critiquing the food, and driving a stick shift car. Most of all she loved her friends, family, and being a mother to her daughter.

Alicia is survived by her daughter, Azalea Maria Gilbertson; significant other, Jeremy Gilbertson; parents, Patrick and Angelica Nolan; sister, Andrea Rose Nolan all of North Mankato; maternal grandparents, Jesus and Reymunda Solis of Adrian, MI; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Janet Nolan of Owatonna; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Alicia was preceded in death by her cousin, Damian Tirado.

Alicia was an organ and tissue donor, helping others after death.
