Mary Ellen Foster, age 24 of rural Amboy, died Saturday, May 22, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester due to an automobile accident.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Willow Creek, with Rev. John Bennett officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Willow Creek North. Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice. Mankato Mortuary is handling arrangements.
Mary was born on June 11, 1985 in St. Cloud to John and Lu Ann (Miller) Foster. She was a graduate of St. Cloud Tech High School and Ridgewater College in Hutchinson. Mary was employed with McDonald's in Mankato. She was a Rebekah Lodge member. Mary enjoyed dolphins, singing, playing guitar, and her new puppy, Bella.
Mary is survived by her mother, Lu Ann (Harold) Lanz of rural Amboy; father, John Foster of Wadena; sister, Christina Foster of St. Peter; maternal grandmother, Lucy (Kenny) Jensen of Monticello; paternal grandmother, Ellen Foster of Scotland; uncle, Abner (Carol) Miller of Browerville; also many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Ernita Miller and paternal grandfather, Edward Foster.
