Jean Glaze

Jean Glaze passed away peacefully on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Immanuel St Joseph's Hospital in Mankato, MN at the age of 69.

A Celebration of Jean's life will take place at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Mankato. There will be a time of visitation with her family following the service. Memorials are preferred to Pathstone Living in Mankato.

Jean was born November 6, 1940 in Fargo, North Dakota to Earl and Florence Stevenson. She grew up on a farm in Georgetown, MN and graduated from Borup High School in Borup, MN. She went on to obtain her degree in nursing at St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in 1962. She worked most of her life in the field of healthcare in Minnesota, Texas, California and North Carolina. She had a passion for family, work, travel, reading, and needle work.

Jean is survived by her sons, Silas (Kristy) Danielson of Mankato, MN and Cekiel (Jill) Danielson of Singapore; grandchildren, Carter Danielson, Jared, Adam and Nicole Hahn, Cate and Alex Danielson; sisters, Audrey Shultz of Ham Lake, MN, Janet (Carlen) Mattison of Spearfish, SD, Aneta Stevenson of Laurel, MD; brother, Wayne (Arlis) Stevenson of Georgetown, MN; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
