Norma J. Jacobson, 69 of Lake Crystal died Saturday, October 4, 2003 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital, Mankato.

Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Lake Crystal, with Rev. Kaye Brandt officiating. Interment in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Crystal Mortuary and one hour before services at the church on Wednesday.

Norma Jacobson was born May 25, 1934 in Lake Crystal to Melville and Rhoda (Skobba) Frisvold. She was united in marriage to Pearl E. Jacobson on August 4, 1951 in Lake Crystal.
She was employed for 21 years at Carlson Craft, retiring in1999. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lake Crystal, Eagles Club Auxiliary, V.F.W. Post #950 Auxiliary and American Legion Post #11 Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, needle work and crafts.

She is survived by four daughters and their husbands, Marie and Corky Nichols of Mankato, Mary and Keith Skeeter Johnson of Lake Crystal, Marilyn and Jamey Sweet of Blaine, Millie and Merlin Swalve of Lake Crystal; three sons and their wives, Harold Jake and Ruth Jacobson of Amboy, Harvey and Jody Jacobson of Lake Crystal, Hayden and Deanie Jacobson of Lake Crystal; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; five sisters; Carol Urban of Aurora, Donna Honken and her husband, Edward of Lake Crystal, Avis Moon of Lake Crystal, Phyllis Splinter and her husband, Leo of Rapid City, SD, Melda Burnett and her husband, Duane of Arizona City, AZ; many nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Pearl in 1991, a son Harry and a granddaughter, Shanda.
