Patricia Birr

Mankato, MN " Patricia Ann Birr, age 52, of Good Thunder, died Monday, July 28, 2003 at Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church in Good Thunder with Rev. Rudolph H. Maurer Jr. officiating. Burial is in Barnard Valley View Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Mankato Mortuary and continues one hour before services at the church on Thursday.

Patricia was born March 26, 1951 in Mountain Lake to John and Evelyn (Peters) Buller. She attended Mountain Lake Schools and graduated in 1969. She attended Johnson School of Cosmetology and completed the course in 1970. She worked for Evelyn Monroe for three years and then worked for Mr. Allens for five years. On July 22, 1978, she married Marvin Birr and moved to Good Thunder. She enjoyed her family, flower gardening, and crafts.

She is survived by her parents; husband; one son and his wife, Darrin and Cassie Birr of Amboy; four daughters, Ellen and Paul Sombke of Good Thunder, Kara and Patrick Garlow of St. Clair, Lindsay Birr of Good Thunder and Allison Birr of Good Thunder; five grandsons, Joshua and Samuel Sombke, Zackary, Bryan, and Tyler Garlow; great aunts, great uncles, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy James Buller.
