Geralene "Gerry" Osborne, age 87, of Lake Crystal, died on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Crystal Seasons.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lake Crystal with Rev. Jerry David officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Lake Crystal Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Geralene Lucille was born on February 7, 1927 to John and Viola Kawczynski in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato High School. On June 15, 1951, Geralene was united in marriage to James Osborne. She worked at Kresge, Mankato Bread Company, and Shari Candies. Gerry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lake Crystal.

Gerry is survived by her son, Tom (Deb) Osborne of Lake Crystal; daughter, Janet (Brian) Jude of Elk River; grandchildren, Tracy Ulman of Mankato, Melissa Osborne of Mapleton, and Brad Jude of Duluth; seven great-grandchildren; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Sylvia Rindelaub; brother, James Kawczynski; and grandson-in-law, Ben Ulman.
