Jeff "Bone" Jones, 53 of Mankato, died suddenly on Friday, September, 30th 2011. Jeff had a history of respiratory illness.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Mankato Mortuary with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Jeff was born on September 17, 1958 to Duane "Jim" Jones and Dorothy "June" Jones at Immanuel Hospital in Mankato. Jeff attended Mankato West High school. Jeff spent his life in the farm industry as well as driving "over the road" in an 18 wheeler. Jeff could also be seen driving the "Snow Cat" at Mt Kato keeping the slopes in great shape for skiers.

Jeff is survived by his two children, Courtney and Jacob, of Mankato, his parents, Jim and June of Sierra Vista, Arizona, brothers Jamey of Ft Worth, Texas; Jon of Miami, Florida; and sister Jane of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by his significant other, Shelly Burg of Mankato; several nephews and cousins and a lovely Aunt, Margaret Mullerleile, of Mankato.
