Dorothy C. Schmoll, age 92 of North Mankato, died Monday, September 12, 2011 at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 16, 2011 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Nosbush officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Mankato Mortuary with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Memorials may be given to an organization of the donor's choice.

Dorothy Clara was born March 28, 1919 to William and Agnes (Funfsinn) Schwamberger in Mankato. On March 26, 1940, she was united in marriage to Edward F. Schmoll at Holy Rosary in North Mankato. They were blessed with three children. Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters-St. Joseph's CT 552, Mankato, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and the CCW.

Dorothy is survived by her two daughters: Shirley (Albert) Schuster of Hartland and Mary (Bob) Rylance of Eden Prairie; son, Thomas (Karen) Schmoll of North Mankato; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; brother: Leonard (Betty) Schwamberger of Lake Crystal; and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward on September 27, 2002; two brothers: Gilbert and Raymond; four sisters: Hilda, Florence, Loretta, and Bernice.
