David W. Swing, age 21, of North Mankato, died on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. at North Mankato Mortuary-NORTHVIEW with Rev. Ron Phares officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. also at NORTHVIEW and one hour prior to the service.

David was born on December 16, 1989 in Mankato to Richard Swing and Cynthia (Johnson) Marso. He graduated from High School in 2009. He enjoyed his job cooking at the Dairy Queen. Dave always knew everything about current sports. He loved music, cooking, and hanging out with his friends.

He is survived by his father, Richard; mother, Cynthia (Pete) Marso; brother, Ryan (Amber) Swing and their daughter, Zoey; sisters, Katie Swing and her son, Devon Swing and Laura Swing (Andy Stueven) and their son, Gage; step-brothers, Nathan (Lindsey) Marso and their daughters, Breanna, Mackenzie, and Avery and Mitchell Marso; step-sister, Maribeth Marso and her daughter, Renee; grandpa, Ken Johnson; Dave's special girlfriend, Emily Long; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandma, aunt, Mary Ann, and uncle, Warren.
