Wayne William Kaul, age 65, of Mankato died Monday, September 5, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Mankato Mortuary with Rev. Rudolph H. Maurer Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday at Mankato Mortuary. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Wayne was born December 24, 1945 to Ervin and Helen (Anderson) Kaul in Mankato. He graduated from Good Thunder High School in 1963. He served in the Army Reserves for six years. Wayne was united in marriage to Lou Jean Bergemann on October 7, 1966 in Good Thunder. He was employed with Madsen's as a produce manager and later for Praxair in customer service. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Good Thunder and the Mankato Eagle's Club. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, and camping on Madison Lake.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Lou Jean Kaul of Mankato; two daughters, Angela (David) Paulsell of Kirkland, WA and Lori (Tony Kubit) Kaul of Palmetto Bay, FL; four grandchildren, Anna, Grace, and Sloane Paulsell, and Trey Kubit; five siblings, Ron (Barb) Kaul of Good Thunder, Gayle (Greg) Goettlicher of Good Thunder, Mary Sue (Leo) Rosin of Mankato, Pam (Scott) Shouts of Amboy, Bob Kaul of Good Thunder; also many nieces and nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.
