They had two sons, Michael and Vern. They later divorced in 1971. She met her second husband, Warren Ulerick in 1972 while he worked on the flood wall here in Mankato. They married June 9, 1973 in Mankato. He was the love of her life for 29 years. He passed away Nov 29th 2002.
Bonnie enjoyed being with her friends and riding on the bus to Jackpot Junction. She loved doing crafts, crocheting, watching soaps and doing things for others and helping them when they needed her. One could always count on her, until she lost alot of her eye sight and couldn't drive any longer. She drove dump truck for her first husband's construction business, worked for Mankato Plating, and owned and operated the B&L Bar & Grill until Urban Renewal took the business over. She then worked for ADC in Le Sueur for 7 years, then retired. She was an Avon Representative for 35 years.
Bonnie wanted to thank Doloris Wagner, Arlene Woratschka, and Art Shaw for their phone calls. Jerry Neubert and his wife Lorraine for being there when she needed help and for the garden tomatoes and cucumbers from their garden every year. She enjoyed canning tomatoes until her eyes went bad, but she still enjoyed making her crispy bread and butter pickles. Bonnie always greatly appreciated everything a person would do for her.
