Henry F. Hank Storjohann, age 69 of Eagle Lake, MN died Monday, December 8, 2003 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital, Mankato. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Clair, with Rev. Daniel Schmidt officiating. Interment in the St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before services at church on Friday. If so desired memorials may be given to an organization of the donors choice.
Hank was born November 1, 1934 in Janesville Township,. Waseca County, MN to Fredrick John and Ida (Berndt) Storjohann. He graduated from Janesville High School and the AG School in Waseca. He served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. He was united in marriage to Karon ODonnell on August 6, 1965 in Janesville. He had been employed at Southern Valley Co-op for 39 years and at the time of his retirement was Agri Product Manager. He was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Clair. He enjoyed golfing, landscaping, carpentry around his home and was a Vikings fan.
He is survived by his wife, Karon Storjohann of Eagle Lake; a daughter and her husband, Heidi and Perry Hoekstra of Lakeville; a son, Jerry Storjohann of Dickinson, ND; five grandchildren, Megan, Joshua, and Zachary Hoekstra, Marreysa and Chase Storjohann; three brothers and their wives, Glenn and Eleanor Storjohann of Janesville, Loren and Trudy Storjohann of Rochester, Ray and Sharlot Storjohann of Janesville; three aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
