Donald Ziemann

Donald Ziemann, age 61, of Good Thunder, died Saturday, October 25, 2003 at his home.

Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Jackson Lake Lutheran Church, Amboy with Rev. Rhea Evanson officiating. Visitation is one hour before services at church on Saturday. If so desired memorials may be given to Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospice Program, Good Thunder Rescue Squad or donors choice. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Donald was born June 4, 1942 in Mankato to Alfred H. and LaLeve (Schwan) Ziemann. He graduated from Good Thunder High School in 1960. He was united in marriage to Nannette O. Huss on January 25, 1964 in Amboy, MN. He worked for Zeno Glass Co. for 25 years as a glazier and the past 6 years at Mutchs Hardware in North Mankato as assistant manager. He was a member of Jackson Lake Lutheran Church, Amboy. He enjoyed playing guitar, woodworking, and working on cars and tractors.

He is survived by his wife, Nannette of Good Thunder; son, Daniel Ziemann of Good Thunder; daughter, Claudette Ziemann of Chaska; two nieces, Heidi Ziemann of Denver, CO, Greta Anderson of Marina Del Rey, CA; one nephew, Jeffrey Ziemann of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
