Sharon Rae Hillyer, age 58 of Mankato died Thursday, October 23, 2003 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital, Mankato.
Memorial services 1:00 p.m. Monday at Mankato Mortuary, Mankato, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be given to an organization of the donors choice.
Sharon was born on December 13, 1944 in Minneapolis, to Richard M. and Ruth A. (Lynch) DeBill. She was a 1962 graduate of Minneapolis North High School, and later attended Hartnell College in Salinas, CA. Sharon enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards at Oaklawn HCC, reading, and watching WWE wrestling.
Sharon is survived by her four sons, Brian Hillyer of Bemidji, James Hillyer and his wife, Andrea, of Mankato, Russell Hillyer and his wife, Jennifer, of Apple Valley, Richard Hillyer, of Mankato; twelve grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Derold and Janice Paul of Grass Valley, CA, Jerry and Lucinda DeBill of Mankato; three sisters, Patricia L. DeBill of Mankato, JoAnn Miller and her husband, George, of Milwaukee, WI, Teri Shary and her husband, Donny, of Mankato; special family friend, Sally Johnson of Minneapolis several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Chelsie Hillyer.
