Marvin G. Cray, age 70, of North Mankato, died Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.
Memorial services 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church with Rev. Karl Rydholm and Rev. Jim Ahlquist officiating. Private family interment at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Mankato.
Marvin G. Cray, son of Archie and Myrtle (Borgwardt) Cray, was born June 25, 1933 in White, SD. He graduated from St. Clair High School in 1951. On October 9, 1954, he was united in marriage to Jeanette Marie Voigt in North Mankato. Marvin was employed for 38 years with the Minnesota Department of Transportation and retired in 1990. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, traveling, and was an avid sports fan.
Survivors include wife, Jeanette Jean Cray of North Mankato; four children, Terry Cray and wife, Pat of Turlock, CA, Pam Stenberg and husband, Rod of North Mankato, Lori Seitz and husband, John of Kasota, David Cray of Atwater, CA; five grandchildren, Michael and Derek Cray, Mellissa Robertson, Travis Stenberg, Colton Seitz; a great-grandchild, Jordan Cray; a step great-grandchild, Becky Robertson; mother, Myrtle Cray of North Mankato; twin brother, Darwin Cray and wife, Pat of North Mankato, brother, Don McKibben and wife, Pat of Surprise, AZ; sister, Dorothy June Jones and husband, Duane Jim of Sierra Vista, AZ, sister, Patty Roy of Mankato; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father.
