Edwin Schull

Edwin J. Schull, age 91, of Mankato, died Tuesday, October 07, 2003 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. John Hagen officiating. Burial will be in Decoria Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Memorials may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Edwin was born November 22, 1911 in Decoria Township to Henry and Ida (Kirchofer) Schull. He farmed and lived on the family farm until moving to Mankato and worked at various occupations. On July 16, 1944, he was united in marriage to Romaine Olson at Alpha Presbyterian Church in Jackson County, Minnesota. He was a lifetime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, and camping.

Survivors include his wife, Romaine Schull of Mankato; son, John Schull and wife, Mary of Elburn, IL; son-in-law, Michael Maslakow of Winnebago, MN; six grandchildren, Kevin, Kim Marie, Kristin, Koreen, Beth, and Emily; five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Annette, grandson, David, eight brothers and sisters.
