Todd J Ziegler

Todd James Ziegler, age 43 of Mankato, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester as the result of a train truck accident.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2009 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato with Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be held from 4 " 8 p.m. with a 3:30 p.m., prayer service on Thursday at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation continues one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Memorials maybe given to the donor's choice.

Todd was born March 12, 1966 to James and Judith (Lenz) Ziegler in Mankato. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1984 and attended Mankato State University. Todd worked for Blue Earth County Hwy. Department since 1993 and farmed with his father and brother. He was a member of the Local 49 union and SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing hunting, coaching his kids, and spending time with his family.

Todd is survived by his wife, Terrie of Mankato; children, Breanna, Brittny, Baily, Ansley, and Cody; parents, James and Judith Ziegler of Rochester; two brothers, Tim (Connie) Ziegler of Mankato, Troy Ziegler of Dodge Center; two sisters, Tracy (Mike) Schnell of Rochester, Teri Ziegler of Rochester; nieces and nephews, Alexandra, Nicholas, Cassandra, Rylie, Payton, and Kai; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Todd was preceded in death by his grandparents.
