Irene M Frank

Irene M. Frank, age 95, of the Eagle Lake and St. Clair area, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Oaklawn Health Care Center, Mankato.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2009 at Salem Lutheran Church in Eagle Lake, with Rev. Norman Greve officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before service at church on Monday. Burial will be in Tivoli Cemetery, rural Mankato.

Irene was born August 10, 1913 in Washington Township, Eau Claire County, WI. She was the daughter of Fred and Minnie (Gardow) Frase. Irene attended country school. She was united in marriage to Raymond Frank on June 30, 1935 in Fall Creek, WI. Irene worked with her husband, Raymond on the family farm in LeRay Township, Blue Earth County. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Eagle Lake and participated in the Ladies of Salem. Irene enjoyed flowers, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Carol (Jerome) Johnson of Eagle Lake; six grandchildren, Michael (Lisa) Johnson, Michele (Brian) Rysavy, Mari Anne (Chris) Auwarter, Brian (Shelly) Loeffler, Brad (Stephanie) Loeffler, and Bruce Loeffler; twelve great grandchildren, Ray and Ben Johnson, Anna and Daniel Rysavy, Sam Auwarter, Jessica, David, Courtney, and Lucas Loeffler, Thomas, Bergan, and Steven Loeffler; son-in-law, Harold (Judy) Loeffler; sister-in-law, Doris Frase; also nieces and nephews.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond on April 27, 1985; daughter, Corine Loeffler on August 12, 2004; sisters, Esther (Howard) Anderson and Hazel (Karl) Riekemann; brothers, John, Ben (Florence), and George Frase.
