Donald Harold Stoll, age 75, of North Mankato, MN went to heaven on Saturday, January 12, 2013.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Roger Knepprath officiating. A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Echo Food Shelf, or an organization of the donor's choice. Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.

Don was born November 23, 1937 in Lincoln, Illinois, the son of Harold and Eda (Boerger) Stoll. He and Doris Irene Henrichsmeyer were united in marriage on June 8, 1958 in Mt. Pulaski, Illinois. After graduation from the University of Illinois in 1959, Don was employed as an engineer by General Electric Co. for 34 years. He and his family lived 22 years in northern Illinois. While living there he was active at Messiah Lutheran Church and formed a business with three friends. In 1982, Don and Irene moved to North Mankato, MN and he completed his career with Midwest Electric in 1993. Don enjoyed his profession and was awarded several patents. Don was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he served on committees and as president of the congregation. Don enjoyed his family, music, sports, his computer, and traveling. He and his wife visited the fifty states and several foreign countries.

Donald is survived by his wife of 54 years, Doris Irene of North Mankato; one son, Don Jr. (Diana) of Elgin, IL; one daughter, Diane (Russell) Behn of North Mankato, MN; four granddaughters, Kori Stoll, Kristi (fianc"e, Brandon Garbrecht) Stoll, Katie (Robert) Stover, and Shannon Behn; brother, Darrell (Rita)Stoll of Ivy, VA; mother-in-law, Helen Henrichsmeyer of Mt. Pulaski, IL; brother-in-law, Larry (Ilene) Henrichsmeyer of Mt. Pulaski, IL and extended family.

Donald was preceded in death by one infant son, Mark; his parents; and father-in-law, Oscar Henrichsmeyer.

Don's family wishes to thank the staff at Hillcrest Care Center for their competent and comforting care during his long stay.
