Mabel E. Tosch, age 105 of Mankato, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Oaklawn Health Care Center, Mankato.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be held in Smith's Mill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at Mankato Mortuary.

Mabel was born January 15, 1906 in LeRay Township, Blue Earth County, Minnesota to Otto and Lena (Sonneberg) Riese. She lived in St. Paul for roughly 40 years and for 20 years of that time she managed an apartment complex. Mabel has lived in Mankato since being united in marriage to Clarence Tosch January 9, 1971. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Mabel is survived by her grandchildren, Janet (Dave Johnson) Smith of North Mankato; Jeannie (Whitey) Hill of Elysian; Terry (Teresa) Walters of Mapleton; Jerry Walters of Minnesota Lake; Jerald Walters of Minnesota Lake; great-grandchildren, Tim, Jesse and Emily Walters; great-great-grandchildren, Christopher and Christina.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, previous husbands, two brothers, two sisters, two daughters, one son, and grandson, Tom Lentz.
