Eileen Gertrude Seys, age 84, of St. Clair, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair with Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m., Thursday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before the service at the church on Friday.

Eileen was born April 1, 1927 to Hubert and Susanna (Dietemann) Renne in rural Le Sueur County, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Oscar Seys on April 7, 1947. She and her husband farmed in the Nicollet area. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair.

Eileen enjoyed reading, cards, fishing, crocheting, going out to eat, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Eileen is survived by her five children, Loren Seys and special friend, Judy Smith of St. Peter, Karen Fischer of Sleepy Eye, Larry (Beth) Seys of Aurora, MN, Vicki (Jim) Tischler-Seys of Orland Park, IL, Jeanne and (fianc", David Frank) Seys of Mankato; five grandchildren, Katti (Bob) Penkaty, Curtis Fischer, Amber Seys, April (Graham) Seys-Christianson, Amanda Pettis; great-grandson, Dylan Hutchings; two brothers, Marvin Renne, and Allen "Dick" (Fran) Renne; sister, Cleopha (Steve) Pongratz; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Oscar in 2006.
