Nancy D. Fredericksen, age 62, of Mankato, died on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Mayo Health System-Mankato. Private family services are being held. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Nancy Dee was born on August 18, 1948 in Mankato to Dean "Jiggs" and Fidelis (Rudloff) Larson. Nancy was united in marriage to Doug Fredericksen and they were married for over 25 years. They later divorced. She had a love for animals, gardening, and working in the yard.
She is survived by her son, Jason (Nikki) Fredericksen; granddaughters, Kayla and Kasey Fredericksen; brother, Gregory (Maria) Larson; nieces, Elisabeth Larson, Doni Vine, and Janeen Swenson; and former husband, Doug Fredericksen. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Noah John Fredericksen in 1997, and niece, Diane Marie Larson.
