Sarah Marie Klein, age 31, of Mound, Minnesota, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 of Hodgkins Lymphoma at her home surrounded by her family.
Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair with Rev. Syl Brown officiating. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, St. Clair. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Friday at Mankato Mortuary with a 4 p.m. prayer service and will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday.
Sarah was born May 20, 1976 to Mark and Joyce (Seys) Gens in Mankato. She was a 1994 graduate of St. Clair High School. In 2000, Sarah graduated from Mankato State University with a degree in dental hygiene. She was united in marriage to Michael P. Klein on June 12, 2004 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mound. She was employed at Dr. Cindy Sundet Family Dentistry in Edina as a board certified dental hygienist. Sarah loved being a step-mom, her family, gardening, cooking, boating, animals, especially her dog "Bob".
She is survived by her husband, Michael Klein of Mound; step-daughter, Sydney Luchsinger-Klein of Minnetrista; parents, Mark and Joyce Gens of Mankato; sister, Jennifer (Karl) Lindstrom of Chippewa Falls, WI; grandfather, Lyle Gens of Eagle Lake; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Klein of Pequot Lakes; two sisters-in-law, Linda (Steve) Enck of Edina, Patty (Ryan) Buell of Pequot Lakes; nieces and nephews, Isaac and Ezra Lindstrom, Matthew and Andrew Enck, Emilee and Joshua Buell; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Sarah was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Henry and Irma Seys; paternal grandmother, Virginia Gens; father-in-law, Phil Klein; uncle, Francis Seys.
