Brandon Lohmann, age 25, of Mankato, died Friday, June 8, 2007 near Outing, MN due to an accidental drowning. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Mankato Mortuary, with Rev. John Vaughn officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, all donations will be put into a trust for Brandon's son, Caleb.
Brandon was born November 27, 1981 in Mankato. He attended Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School in New Ulm, MN. He was employed with Paragon Printing & Mailing in Mankato. Brandon was a very good artist and recently started getting his artwork ready to take to an art gallery. Brandon enjoyed fishing, hunting for morel mushrooms, the outdoors, art, and computers. His pride and joy was his son, Caleb.
He is survived by his son, Caleb of North Mankato; father, Mark Miklas of Outing; mother, Alyson Strobel and her husband, Steve of Remer; two brothers, Shane Lohmann and wife, Sheila of Janesville, Dana Lohmann (Ginger Buker) of North Mankato; two sisters, Heather Hennen (Tony Persio) of Jordan, Tiffany Thomas and her husband, Wade of St. Peter; nieces and nephews, Ashley, Micah, Macy, Jacob, Amber, Tyler, and Lily; maternal grandmother, Hazel Grewe of Belle Plaine; special friend, Martha Eisenbeis of Mankato; Caleb's mother, Rachel Reisdorf of North Mankato; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
