Brian L Olson

Brian Lee Olson, age 47, of North Mankato, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Immanuel-St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.

Private burial will be held at Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato. A gathering in celebration of Brian's life will be held from 1- 3 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Mankato Mortuary.

Brian was born on January 13, 1960 in Mankato to George and Beverly (Pasbrig) Olson. He was a 1978 graduate of Mankato West High School. Brian was united in marriage to Karla Jo Lupkes on May 10, 1986 in Mankato and they welcomed their son, Lee William Olson into the world on August 8, 1986. He was employed with Kato Engineering for many years. Brian enjoyed music, playing guitar, woodworking, reading, hunting, and his "Meta-Physical Video Club" (aka Video Punks) get-togethers.

Brian will be missed by his wife, Karla Jo Olson of North Mankato; son, Lee Olson of North Mankato; parents, George and Bev Olson of North Mankato; mother-in-law, Arlouine Johnson of Bloomington; also a host of other loving family members and friends. Godspeed, Brian.
