Ella O Wendt

Ella O. Wendt, age 105, of LeCenter, formerly of Mankato, died Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at Central Health Care in LeCenter.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 14, 2007 at Mankato Mortuary, with Rev. John Petersen officiating. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Memorials are preferred to Mount Olive Lutheran Church.

Ella was born June 15, 1901 in Porter to Oscar and Emma (Richter) Miller. Ella was united in marriage to Herbert Wendt on April 6, 1947 in Mankato. She was a homemaker for her family and had worked for Pierces Dress Shop in Mankato. Ella was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing and cooking.

Survivors include two sons, Curtis (Joyce) Jensen of North Redington Beach, FL, Robert (Jeanette) Jensen of Bloomington; daughter-in-law, Doris Jensen of Media, PA; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Revier of Ramsey; brother, Russell (Carol) Miller of North Mankato; also many nieces and nephews. Ella was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert in 1993; infant daughter, Jean Marie; son, Owen; granddaughter, Sally; four brothers and three sisters.
