Lois M Larson

Lois Mae Larson, age 91, of North Mankato, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at Oak Terrace Assisted Living.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Mankato Mortuary, with Rev. Paul Ficzeri officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Elmore.

Lois was born May 3, 1915 in Osceola, IA. She was the daughter of Leslie and Leona (Carter) Rilea. Lois was a graduate of Mankato High School. She was united in marriage to Milford Larson on October 9, 1938 in Osceola. Lois was employed as an assistant for Dr. Shaw Sr. at the Family Podiatry Clinic in Mankato for many years. She was a former member of First Christian Church. Lois enjoyed nature, canoeing, camping and traveling, flowers, photography, visiting with family, and caring for others. She had been living at Oak Terrace Assisted Living in North Mankato since 2003.

Lois is survived by many cousins and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Milford in 2004.
